Summer

So it seems like nothing super exciting has happened at our house lately so I will fill you in on my what our day to day life is like right now. First of all Cameron is a riot. He keeps me on my toes. He is always doing or saying funny things. This is Cameron after Clara scratched his nose (I never saw a mark). He left these band-aids on ALL DAY. He even wore them to wal-mart. He says the funniest things. Here are a few of my recent favorites.

1. He was wandering around near the front of the chapel a few Sundays ago. Dave couldn't get him to come and sit down. Thank goodness the meeting hadn't started yet. When Dave got a little more stern with him he said "DAD! I have to help the sacramenters".
2. I wouldn't give him ANOTHER snack the other day so he told me I made him feel bad and that was not obeying Heavenly Father.
3. We do 30 minutes of "homework" everyday. We were talking about feelings (he has a hard time with this). I asked him to tell me a time when he felt sad. He thought about it for a minute and then said "2:30".
4. We were watching a baseball game and someone hit a home run. He said to me "Mom, he just got a quadruple".

5. I had to add this one...LAST WEEK I found an Easter egg (a real hard boiled one) in the drawer of my entertainment center. It was from the Easter egg hunt Cameron did for himself. I thought I had found them all. One I found about a week after Easter. I thought that was bad. When was Easter? March...FOUR MONTHS ago!!! What I can't figure out is why it didn't stink. Maybe it did and I just liked the smell.

This would be Cameron "babysitting". Can you tell which sister is a little less tolerant of the big brother?
The girls have discovered our tunnel. They meet in the middle and then giggle like crazy. I hope they will always be friends and play well together. They fight over toys right now. It is so funny to watch them learn to stash toys and run (crawl really fast) away from each other.
Our favorite summer show is wipe out. We let Cameron stay up to watch it with us. We think it is hilarious. Well, Cameron plays wipe out in the pool now. He lines up all the floats and tries to run across the pool on them. I will be amazed if we finish the summer with no stitches. This is a picture of his "towel run". I thought it was very clever. And to think...I was told he would never develop an imagination. Give me a break.

We went to the discovery museum with our ward. Cameron had a blast. I can never get him out of that place. He loves the bubbles and the construction zone.
