Happy Birthday Sis

Today is my sister, Kristin's birthday. She is my only sister. I am so thankful that I got a least one sister. We are four years apart so growing up we never went to the same schools or had the same friends. I think I was more of a pest to her than anything else. But hey...what are little sisters for? There have always been a few common threads that we have shared throughout our lives.
1. We both love our family and being with them. 2. We both LOVE Disneyland. We even went there together when she graduated from BYU and I from high school. What a blast.
3. We both love football. Thanks to our Dad for that.
4. Most of all we both love the gospel. Kristin has always been good at whatever she does. I always wanted to be like her. She did very well in school. In fact one time I found one of her creative writing books and I copied every story. I could never write. She is an amazing writer. When she chose to serve a mission I swore I would never go because that was just one more thing that she would do that I wouldn't be able to do as well. I am so thankful that I went because it gave us one more common thread. She has had a great job and has been able to travel all over the world. I am glad she has had so many great opportunities but I am more grateful that she has David and Baylie. As we have grown older Kristin has become my best friend. I have learned that although we are very different, together we make a pretty powerful force. I am so glad that now we get to be Wives and Moms together. There is no one better to share funny, frustrating, exhausting stories with than a sister. Happy Birthday Sis! I hope Baylie doesn't poop all over your house today. I love you!

Make me cry! I've always been grateful to be your sister. (I've spent most of my adult life trying to make up for how mean I was to you as a child.)

Wish you lived closer! I love you and you're my best friend too.
