This year the Jennings' family reunion was in Dinkey Creek in California. It is about an hour away from Fresno in the High Sierra mountains. Dave's family used to go there every summer when he was growing up. We stay at a great campground. There is a full kitchen and a huge place for everyone to gather. There is a lot of competition during the week. There is ping pong, Frisbee golf, horseshoes, and obstacle course. There is a river that runs behind the camp and each day we find a different place along the river to play. This year the water was so high and swift that we couldn't play at the usual hot spots. We ended up spending two days at Shaver Lake. We love being with our family and we miss them after a week together.
Cameron takes a turn in the freezing cold river. Seriously...FREEZING COLD!!!The girls choose to spend their time in the warm sun.
This is at polliwog pond. Cameron was a little confused because there were no polliwogs.
You must be careful when stepping into a waterfall. You might lose an item of clothing.
Clara gets brave.
Lauryn insisted on sitting in the little waterfall.
and if the kids would have somehow floated a few feet down the river they would have fallen over this waterfall.
chillin with the cousins at camp. By the way...did I mention that Dave and I won the mixed doubles horseshoe tournament?
The girls performing some Tangled music on skit night.
Cameron told some funny jokes.
We love having some good quality time with Dad.
Catching rainfall
We visited a redwood forest. The trees were huge. Cameron thought this tree was pretty amazing.
this is the base of three trees that are joined together.
the girls were asleep so we got a picture of the three of us.
and then Lauryn woke up
and donned a snazzy stache.
our little family at the campground.
A day at Shaver Lake.
the kids love the wave runners. Lauryn would have stayed on it the whole time. She was gut laughing and wanted to go faster and faster.
How beautiful is this little girl? I just love this picture.
taking a dip with Daddynoodle fight with Ammon. I think Lauryn won!
this is what happens when you go to the Lake with your teenage cousins. If my nieces and nephews knew how much my kids looked up to them they wouldn't dare do anything wrong. Ever!!!

We feel very blessed to have such a great family. We love it when we can all get together. Now the two year countdown begins to our next reunion. We love you Jennings family!

So much fun!!! I just love the names of the places...Dinkey Creek, Polleywog Pond. ;) Good times.
Competition at a Jennings reunion? That surprises me. I've never been to the Redwoods and I'm dying to go.
