4

Lauryn and Clara turned four years old last Sunday.  I don't think there have ever been two girls more excited for their birthday.  Their list of all the treasures they were going to get was very long and growing every day.  For a special birthday activity I took them to build a bear.  I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  They loved it.  We now have to dress our bears in the morning and put their pjs on at night. (Thanks to their Dad for the pjs).  We can't leave the house until the bears are dressed just right.  It doesn't really matter what Lauryn and Clara look like as long as the bears are well cared for.  Clara keeps asking me when they are going to grow up.
I am so thankful for these two little ladies.  They are a treat.  Clara is a very sensitive soul.  She gets her feeling hurt easily.  She is always concerned about other people.  She is a nurturer.  She loves her friends and wants to play with friends all day every day.  From the day she was born she has had a calmness about her.  She is a peaceful little girl and is a blessing in our home.

Lauryn is our busy bee.  She NEVER stops moving.  This is not an exaggeration.  If you don't believe me just try to snuggle with her.  The wheels in her little brain are always turning.  She is very creative and wants to paint all the time.  She likes to help me clean or cook or anything else I am doing.  She is a very hard little worker.  She has an very bright smile and an infectious giggle.  She loves to be held and loved.
I am so thankful these little girls came as a package deal.  They are best friends.  They play well together and they balance each other very well.  I am so thankful to be their Mom.  I am excited for all the firsts they will have this year, Dance, Soccer, Pre-school,  its all very exciting.  I love my little ladies.  They have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined.
