I haven't written here for a long time which means life at our house is either boring or busy and I am pretty sure its not boring.
We have had some mean games of twister going on over here. I was more than happy to exit the game to take pictures. That is a crazy bunch. Lauryn is in full swing with her new swim team. She loves going and is improving every single time. She has great coaches who seem to have the right mind set for us. She is by far the tiniest swimmer in her group but she might also be the most tenacious. I love watching her. She has gained a great deal of confidence through swimming and she loves having her own thing.
I swear I have never seen a cuter little swimmer in all of my life.
We had a fun visit from my Brother Erik and his family. We took a quick trip to Hoover dam. We should have planned better and spent more time out there. We also had the dog. Who knew you couldn't take a dog on Hoover dam? We went in shifts and it was cool to see anyway.
The Senior primary aged kids had a stake temple activity so Kolton and Camden went with Cameron. It was a special time at our beautiful temple. This was a great experience for Cameron. The night before his beloved bird, Snowball drowned in our toilet. It was awful. Cameron has lost his best friend and is truly grieving. He was also supposed to play the Organ for the activity. He wasn't sure he would be able to do it because he was so sad. Dave gave him a priesthood blessing on Friday night and again on Saturday morning. He played beautifully. I was in tears. So many people spoke to me about how impressive it was to have such a young boy get up and play the organ in front of all those people. It was also his first time to accompany anyone. What these people didn't know was that his heart was broken at the same time. I was so proud of him and the way he handled himself and the situation.
What a great place to be to find peace when your heart is sad. I was grateful for his primary leaders who were super sensitive and helped him to have a positive experience.
We went with these Hooligans to visit the Shark Reef.
We love this place. The girls will pet the sting rays for hours.
We went to M&M world. You will spend your life savings on a bag of M&Ms so they try to make you feel better with a free 3D movie.
We visited New York Paris and Italy all on the same day. That is what we love about Vegas.
The Bellagio had its Chinese New Year display It is the year of the horse...
which made this girl VERY VERY happy.
This horse was almost too much for the girls to handle. It was made out of "diamonds"
The fountains in front of the Bellagio are always a favorite.
I love this little girl. She is still my baby. She and Clara might be twins and she is older by 2 minutes (she will tell you if you ask) but they are growing up so differently. Lauryn still has some of the toddler features that I know will be gone in the next few months. I treasure every day that she will still climb in my lap and that she still fits there perfectly. I love that she still has some pudge in her cheeks and that so much about her is still so small. She of course can't grow up fast enough but I just keep telling her to stay small.
We went with our cute friend to the BYU fairytale ballet. I am not sure who the photo bomber in the back row is but she was in most of our pictures and we could never figure out who her mother was.
These three little girls love each other. One thing I am super grateful for is that there are tons of kids in our neighborhood that are the same age as Lauryn and Clara. They come from great homes and hopefully they will stick around for a very long time. My girls will have a whole army of awesome young men to date and a bunch of darling little girls for friends.
at intermission the girls all went up on stage to dance. They are up there somewhere.

Cameron has been playing intramural football. He had the winning catch for a 2 point conversion in one game and they even said his name over the loud speaker the next day in school. This was a big deal for him and even the girls heard it and everyone was on a high that day.
He loves football. I wonder why?
His team won the Piggotbowl. So funny that they call it that. There are only two teams and they play each other every week for about two months then the last game is for all the glory. I love these kids. They have been so good to my boy. I hope he finds good friends to watch over him in Junior High.
