My little boy is 11

Cameron has had a very eventful few weeks.  He was selected to play on his school All-star team.  You would have thought it was the Superbowl.  He was super excited.  We went a few miles down the road and played against another elementary school.

Cameron is completely focused during these games.  He is super competitive and intense.  His coach let him play quarterback which was very nice of him.  This little guy of mine threw for a touchdown.  He was soooo excited.  I cannot even begin to tell you what this experience did for his little soul.  He was so happy.  His team ended up tying the game with an extra point conversion with no time left on the clock.  It doesn't get any better than that.
This is Mr. Hudzick, the principal and Mrs. and Mr. Rogers.  Mrs. Rogers is the PE teacher and Mr. Rogers was Cameron's 4th grade teacher.  These are just a few of the faculty members at our elementary school have had a super positive influence on Cameron.  They love him and they are the kind of people who belong in education.  There is no salary that could pay for what they have done for my son.
Of course Dave and I went to cheer him on.
Cameron also made the 2nd Trimester A honor roll.  He does very well academically but doesn't love the Fiction part of reading and writing.   About a week before the end of the trimester he realized he was getting an A- in writing so he went to his teacher and asked her what he could do to make it up.  I was very proud and encouraged by is desire to up the grade.  He did it all on his own.  I didn't even know about it until his teacher told me.  He always has straight As but this time was special because he had to put in a little extra effort.
He also celebrated his 11th birthday.  He is growing up way to fast...
 What happened to this?
and this?  I love this little guy.  He is a special little boy.  He has a very tender heart and wants so badly to do what is right.  He is growing up and it scares me to death but each day I am learning to trust him a little more and to have faith and  confidence in the person that he is.  For his birthday he chose to go to Blue Man group.  I got to take him and we had a blast.
