My little Lauryn. I know one day she will hate that I call her that but she will always be my little L. This little girl has a light about her that you can see and feel from a mile away. She truly brightens any and every room she enters. Her twinkly eyes are my favorite thing. Lauryn is the comic relief in our home. She has a quick whit and a funny little demeanor. She can out burp any grown man any day. She needs to have her hands going all the time. She moves from one craft to the next like a bolt of lightning leaving a trail and a frustrated mom in her wake. She is very creative and has recently discovered the magic of adhesive caulk. She loves to do anything if it means she can spend time with her Dad (see previous caulk comment). She is super bright but would rather do anything than read or homework. Her self esteem has really grown over the last year and she has taken a greater roll in making friends and standing up to those who are less kind. She makes good choices and loves to help me in the kitchen. She loves her Barbies and loves to dress up. She is staying little in many ways and I am so grateful for that. She loves her primary teachers about as much as she loves her parents. Thank goodness. She has had a hard time finding a sport she likes to do so we are now trying ballet. She will start piano next week. She has quite the following of little boyfriends and I think I may be in trouble in about ten years when she is old enough to date. This girl may be little but she is by far the loudest. She has a voice and it will be heard. She will make a great missionary.
