The Halloween festivities started out this year with the Piggot fall festival. The girls were very excited to dress up for this. We have Hermione and Aurora. I must say these little ladies are about the cutest little things I have ever seen.
We decorated our pumpkins for Family Home Evening which was a mistake because they rot within about two days and Halloween wasn't until saturday but they looked great on day 1 and 2.
Every year at the school they have a "parade". The kids get to march around the field for everyone to see their costumes.
For the trunk or treat Lauryn decided to be a vampire. She always likes to change costumes from day to day.
The kids wanted to know why I never dress up so here I am as a Geisha or Mulan. Take your pick.
For Halloween night Lauryn decided to be Cruella DeVil. I could not get over her in this week. She kills me.
Cameron was not so excited about dressing up this year but he was still very much wanting candy so he grabbed this angry bird costume and his prop of a bird and went trick or treating.
while we were out we ran into one of my former young women. Her name is Katie. She made this Cinderella dress. It was AMAZING. Over 100 yards of tule and 500 hand sewn jewels. I think she should rent herself out for parties for little girls. I would hire her in a heartbeat.
Well...I must admit this is my least favorite holiday of the year so I am glad it is over. Now on to cooler weather and Thanksgiving and Christmas. Two of my favorites.

Lauryn is a crackup. Three wardrobe changes for Halloween. And I can't get over Clara with dark hair. Cameron is in it just for the candy - smart kid. I'm with you. Blah Halloween. Bring on Christmas!
