We loved seeing so much of our family. The girls love any time they get with Maren.
Clara is trying to push Matt in the swing but he is kind of big.
Lauryn and Garrett
Clara is on the rope swing. Uncle Burton has the funnest yard. He has a trampoline, a rope swing and a tree swing.
Lauryn in the tree swing.
My cute kids
We floated down the virgin river.
The kids loved riding down the river on the floats.
three beauties
Cameron went down the river over and over. He was in heaven.
Dave with his cousins. They are a very diverse group. He has two cousins who grew up in Hurricane. They live a very simple and happy life. He has one cousins, Kerry who has never married. She is active in the church. Her sister Lisa is married and raised her four children in one of the roughest sections of Oakland. They are extremely liberal. Then Kerry and Lisa have a brother, Erik who is married to his partner, Rick. We love them all. The cousins are all so different but all so much fun. They love each other even thought they view the world in many different ways. I find it refreshing. They are a great example to me of just loving each other.
My kids in the narrows. On the second day of the reunion we hiked the narrows. The weather was beautiful.
Cameron has overcome so many fears recently. All summer long he has done things that would normally make him very uncomfortable or even afraid. He loved this hike and didn't want to turn around. He was swimming in the water and jumping off cliffs. I am so proud of him.
getting our hike on
standing in a waterfall
Clara and I did a little extra hike to pine creek. She slid down this small waterfall and then jumped off of a cliff. It was a fun little extra hike.
The whole group as we were entering the narrows.
family
This is my nephew Matt. I love him. Here we are at Jennings Lane
Dave's family. I am so grateful that I married into such a great family. I love my in-laws. I feel very blessed to be a part of this great family. I learn much from them and I proud of the people they are. They have an incredible influence on my children. I am grateful for the way they love my little ones.
This is Uncle Burton. He is such an incredible man. He never stops. At 80+ years he can still be found jumping on the trampoline with the kids. Here he is telling them stories.
Dave's cousin Sueanne and Aunt Anna
We had a talent show and Clara and Dave played the Ukulele and sang a song.
