It is always hard to get back in the swing of school schedules.  We decided to pretend like school hadn't started and we took of for LA to watch the Dodgers play the Yankees.  

Our first stop was Olvera street.  We love this old street in downtown LA.  

It makes you feel like you are in Mexico.

 

We go to the same little stand to get taquitos.  They are so delicious.  We probably eat too many but we only go here once in awhile so I guess it is Ok to indulge once in awhile.  

 The dodger game was not the best.  The dodgers got crushed.  The stadium is still so cool.  I love watching games there.

 We consoled ourselves the next day at the beach. 

 It was a quick weekend but we love taking a trip to the beach anytime we can.

Steve and Carolyn were at the beach house so we got to go hand out there for a little bit and clean up before we headed home.
