Happy St. Patricks Day

I thought this picture of Lauryn was appropriate to wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day. It looks like she has had a few pints too many. For those of you who knew me as a little girl...this will look all too familiar. This is EXACTLY what I look like when I wake up in the morning.
I just came across this picture of my kids from last March. I knew that Lauryn and Clara had changed a lot. I was stunned to see how much my little Cameron has grown up. He is changing too much lately. I guess that is what kindergarten does to a little boy. They get all independent and think they don't need their Mom anymore. I can't stand how fast my kids are growing up. I love watching them change and learn new things I just wish I could push a button and have them back in their preemie clothes. I hope I am preparing them for what their future will throw at them. It can be a cruel and wicked world and it terrifies me to think of these little sweeties being hurt by someone. I hope they will always have integrity and the courage to stand up for themselves and the values they are being taught. I hope when the day comes for them to fly the coop and spread their wings that I have adequately prepared them and that I don't have any regrets. Yesterday Cameron was in his room (in time-out of course) and I couldn't find the girls anywhere. I headed down the hall and I heard Cameron say "Oh no guys here she comes." When I opened the door he had both little girls on his bed. I asked him what was going on and he said to me. "I just wanted to play with my little darlings". Well...what more could a Mom ask for. I guess that it was always happy play and not torture (which is why he was in time-out in the first place).

Love the analogy with the pint. Your kids are adorable.

Cameron is such a smooth talker with his "darling" comment. You should be proud.

"my little darlings" Cameron is too cute. I remember when he used to say things like that to me when he was in nursery. Give him a hug for me!

The first thing I thought when I saw Lauryn's picture, was "Oh, my gosh! She looks just like Tiffani!" I was thinking of the picture of you in the blue nightgown. Too funny. And I love Cameron's comment "Uh, oh, she's coming..."
