Happy Birthday Lauryn and Clara

Tomorrow Lauryn and Clara turn 2. Dave is leaving town so we are celebrating today and I thought I might as well post today. I cannot believe how much fun these little girls are. It is also amazing to me that they are being raised in the exact same environment but have TOTALLY different personalities. Because I know they often get lumped together I am going to post about their many differences.

Lauryn is our shy one. She takes a while to warm up to people. She loves her Daddy and has always been a Daddy's girl. She also favors her Grammy and her Aunt Noelle. Lauryn is very thoughtful and if she comes to me for something for herself she always makes sure to get one for Clara. Lauryn is detail oriented. She wants to know how everything works. She notices the smallest changes around the house. If I hang a picture or change pillows or candles, Lauryn will notice. She loves Tinkerbell. She is very smart and already knows most of her colors. She is very artistic and loves to draw and color, mostly on herself.

Clara is VERY outgoing. The girl knows no strangers. Whoever has the best to offer is her best friend. Clara is our comedian. I had no idea that a 2 year old could intentionally make people laugh. She loves to be silly. She has got some serious dance moves as well and at the moment her favorite dance partners are the characters on Sesame Street. Clara is very coordinated and climbs and conquers anything she wants. She loves to ride her bike and push things around the back yard. Clara loves Cinderella and knows the color Pink. Clara is aggressive and never gets pushed around. She loves Cameron and tries her very hardest to always keep up with him. He is learning to tolerate this.

The little ladies are starting to play really well together. They chase around the house and laugh and giggle and usually end up falling down and then wrestling. It is so fun to watch them develop such sweet little friendship. They are a treat to have in our home and I feel sorry for all of you who have to go through life without them. (: I love you girls and feel so honored to be your Mom.
