Today Dave turns 40. I thought I might list the top 40 reasons why I love him. OK so I am sure I could come up with 40 but that might get a little obnoxious. So...I will tell you the top 4 reasons (one for each decade).
1. He enjoys being silly. He makes all of us laugh and he still loves to play with toys. (remote control helicopters are the toy of choice at the moment).
2. He has an unwavering testimony of the gospel. This is obvious by how he lives the gospel. He gives whatever calling he has 100% of his time and energy. He is a faithful home teacher. He works very hard at preparing Cameron to be a righteous young man. One of Cameron's favorite things is his monthly interview with Dad.
3. He works hard for our family. As a result I am spoiled rotten. I get to stay home with my three kids and get dressed when I want, eat when I want, sleep when I want (OK someday). He provides everything we could possibly need.
4. He has unlimited amounts of patience with me. He is happy with a steak or a bowl of cereal. OK so he is probably a little happier with the steak but he is totally content with a bowl of cereal on those days when dinner just doesn't make it to the table or out of the freezer. You know what I mean.
5. He looks hot every morning when he walks out the door in his suit.
Happy Birthday Dave!!! I will do my best to make the next 40 better than the first. I LOVE YOU!!!
