Spring

So for more than a week now Las Vegas has been blessed with some nasty winds. Some of those winds have been up to 70 MPH. They even cancelled T-ball if you can imagine that. I would seriously rather have snow than wind. The wind keeps my kids up at night. Cameron is CERTAIN that we are going to be hit with a hurricane. I now know how Dorothy felt when she was flown to OZ by a tornado. Anyway...this is what my backyard looks like.
During the breaks from the wind this is what we have been doing...

Cameron has been playing T-ball. He really should be playing coach pitch this year but out of 12 kids on the team 10 live in our ward and the other two are friends of people in our ward so we decided to have him do one more year of T-ball. PLUS after three years we FINALLY get to be the Dodgers. Go Cameron.

Lauryn has been helping Dave in the back yard. She loves to use the hose and dig with her shovel. Dave is thrilled to have a little help. Thanks for helping Lauryn.

Clara has been riding her bike. The other day she hopped on her bike and told my neighbor that she was going to go get married. Good Luck with that Clara.

And Dave and I, well...we went to go for a ride yesterday afternoon with the kids. We were all in the car when of course I realized I needed to run in for one more thing. Well...someone had locked the garage door which then locks us out of our house. No problem we had hidden a key. Well, after looking and looking we realized we can't find our house key. No problem we got out the ladder and Dave climbed in through an upstairs window that I remembered hadn't been locked. Well, all is well right? Well yes and guess what? We have a house key on my keyring that Dave had pulled out of the ignition so the car wouldn't be running the whole time we were trying to get into our house.

We hope you are all enjoying the nice Spring breezes.
