Thanksgiving

I must start this post by talking about one thing that I am extremely grateful for...my in-laws.  I have met very few people who feel as comfortable with their in-laws as I do with mine.  Dave has a great family and they are so much fun to be with. I  feel very blessed to have married into such a loving and fun family.  There are bunches of cousins for my kids to play with and as soon as we get together I never have to think of my kids again.  They are totally entertained and cared for the entire time.  It is heaven.  It helps that my kids are some of the youngest and so there are plenty of older cousins who love the little ones.  Anyway...I love you my in-laws thank you for being so great to me and my kids.  All of Dave's siblings were together for Thanksgiving minus his sister Laura who lives in Virginia (we missed you) but she was represented by her daughter who came down from BYU.
Grandma always rents a bouncy house for T-day.  This is a brilliant idea and whoever invented these jump houses was a genius.
We go on a traditional Friday morning hike.  This year we hiked at the base of the superstition mountains.  Dave's Mom lives near these beautiful mountains.  They are very interesting.  They kind of pop out of nowhere.  Is anyone surprised that Clara is pouting in this picture?  I'm not!
Cameron was up in the lead with the big cousins.  They made it all the way to the base of the mountain.  He loves to be with the big boys.  Lauryn and Clara had a great time as well.  Grandpa is a good helper and always willing to take a hand.
Friday night we had the 'Jennings got Talent' show.  Cameron was due to do a home recital on the violin so we decided to make it a family affair.  It was a great show.  We had a dancing, singing, lip syncing and piano playing.  Lauryn and Clara sang Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam with their cousin Maren.  Then they followed it up with an encore of Follow the Prophet.
Cameron played 5 songs on the violin and we learned why it is so important to practice.  (:  He did great but was a little rusty.

Whenever the family gets together something like this usually happens.
