my little Kwans

I decided it would be fun to take Lauryn and Clara ice-skating.  They have seen Barbie skate on a movie or something and so they have asked about it.  Well, I thought we might last about 5 minutes but we lasted about an hour and a half.   It was awesome.  This little adventure showed so much the difference of my little girls.  It went something like this...Talking non-stop about how much fun it would be and how excited they were.
When we got there Lauryn put the skates on with no hesitation and couldn't get on the ice fast enough.  She wasn't nervous at all.  She jumped right in and with my help and the walker took off.
Clara on the other hand refused to put the skates on and watched from behind the glass.  Until...
she saw how much fun it was and decided to join us.  She wanted to go with Lauryn.

and then moved on to a walker of her own.  Before long she was running with the walker.  Within a  few minutes, Clara who happens to be very coordinated...
insisted on skating without a walker.  She did really good and only fell one time.  She was actually trying to twirl.  It was darling.  I was thinking that I hope they don't get too comfortable without the walkers or else I am going to be falling all over the place.
And just because I think these are the cutest little skating feet ever I had to include the picture.
You can't make a trip to the skating rink without watching the Zamboni.

How fun! Do they have those walker things for growups?
