Fire Station

For Cub Scouts, Cameron's group went to the Fire Station.  They invited families so the girls and I tagged along.  We had a great time.  The firemen were so friendly and fun.  They seemed to genuinely enjoy the kids and I felt like they were never going to let us go.  My girls even asked if they could have a sleep over there.
Checking out the bed in the ambulance...
While we were looking at the firetruck they got a 911 call.  It was very interesting to see how this came through and how fast the firemen got out of the station.  It turned out to be a fire in a trash can so they made it back before we left.
This is the fire captain.  You could tell he was a great guy.  There was a great feeling among these men.  He was very sweet to Cameron.  I love this picture of Cameron admiring his badge.

This is Cameron's group.  It is three troops.  Their are only two from our ward.
My little firemen.  Unfortunately this is not our first experience with firemen.  Remember the elevator?  The girls were very anxious to tell the firemen all about being rescued from the elevator.
What do you do after a visit to the fire station?  You have a nice cold drink of course.  (OK so maybe this picture was the next day...I forget)
