Sometimes Cameron blows me away. The other day I had a doctor appointment. I forgot to tell Cameron that I wouldn't be home for a few minutes after he got home. I rushed home as quickly as I could. When I got home Cameron's homework was done on the table and he was practicing the piano. What nine year old does that? He never complains or fights me on homework and piano. Everyday he comes home...does his homework...practices the piano...does his reading...all without me saying a word. But to do it when no one is home is amazing. I guess all that practicing paid off when he went to the piano Jr. Festival at UNLV last weekend and check out this score...
I was one proud mama and this is one proud little boy.
The cutest thing was that everyone was making a big deal about his score. They don't give very many superior with honor scores. After we walked around a corner Cameron said to me "What does with honors mean?" When I told him he did a few fist pumps. I was wanting to do much more than that. I can't post his performance because they wouldn't let us record this year and he told me to wait in the hall. He totally rocks...

Awesome. :)
Cameron, your mother never did that on her own. Way to go. We are so proud. Keep us posted on line with what books you're reading. We love you.
Hooray for Cameron! I love that he made you wait in the hall. I was always more nervous when Grandad was around. Sometimes you just need your parents to be somewhere else for a minute. I think he looks like Dave in the picture. See you soon!7
