We live in the best neighborhood ever. We love our little friends.
One last little gift from mother nature before school started...a HUGE rainstorm. We get a little excited over any kind of weather that doesn't include triple digits. The greenbelts and streets were rivers. They had to close most of the roads in our neighborhood for a while. The swimming pools nearly over flowed. The kids were in heaven. The best part was we got hot chocolate in August...doesn't that mean I can listen to Christmas music now?

first day of Fifth grade. His teacher is Mrs. Mingo and we already love her.
First day of Kindergarten. Her teacher is Mr. Buono. She was a little upset that she doesn't get to go all day.
Lauryn was not so excited for school. She did great. Her goal is to leave for school with a good attitude.
All of these kids are from our ward and they are all in the same kindergarten class. That poor teacher.
The cutest Kindergarteners I have ever seen. I am so grateful that they have each other.
These little beauties survived their first day. last year Cameron earned a trip to Washington DC for being on time every day of the year. We were so proud of him. He and Dave headed off on Wednesday. I am not sure if he was more excited about the trip or just missing school.
Just a couple of good looking boys in front of the White House.
Mt Vernon with CJ and Jefferson
the air and space museum at the Dulles airport
The BYU vs Virginia game. BYU lost but Cameron handled it like a champ
Not to be left behind the girls headed to St. George. We met Grammy and Ava and Aunt Bethany and went to see Mary Poppins at the Tuacahn theater.
We loved having some girl time and the show was amazing
We went to see the St. George temple where Grammy and Grandad were married.
Posers
Of course no girls outing is complete without shopping and ice cream.
