Cameron is afraid of heights. I was very proud of how brave he was.
We took a picture by Bridie. If you rub his nose you will have good luck. When I was a little girl my mom read this book to me so I bought it to read to my kids. We can't wait.
Clara was the only one who wanted to go on this hike with me.
some of us very brave souls went on another hike. This one was a little scary in places. We all held hands and had a great little hike.
how cute are my Mom and Dad?
after all that hiking we needed a little ice-creamhelping to carry fire wood
fire dancing
this white tailed squirrels only live on the north rim of the Grand Canyon
building a squirrel house
and a squirrel play ground
We went through Zions so we could drive through the tunnel Dave's grandpa made It was super cool.
I LOVE that Clara is trying so hard to put her arm around Cameron.
our last stop was to get some bumbleberry pie. Legend has it that Dave's grandma Gifford invented this pie. Our "super trip" was awesome but we were happy to be home. We really missed Dave.

I thought I had read your blog about our trip, but I hadn't. Love seeing the pictures. We're reading Brighty too!
