The girls had their first violin recital. They did a great job. They love it and they love their teacher Jenny Jackson. They heard one of the teenagers in our ward play the other day and now they are practicing harder than ever. I love a good role model. Thanks Izzy.
Cameron had his next home recital. He passed the last book in six months. It was the fastest his teacher had ever had a student do it. He has really caught on to the piano and he loves it. He is now sight reading from the primary childrens songbook. We headed to Utah for Thanksgiving. We love being with our cousins.
The kids made an obstacle course in Clark and Dianne's front yard.
It got a little competitive when the grown ups came out to play.
dinner was a success with lots of yummy food.
and fun
and cute cousins
and a post dinner wrestling match.
We had a blast in Utah. We went to see the new Disney movie, Frozen and we went ice blocking. But....at some point it was time to come home...where Cameron played at Opportunity Village. Doesn't Clara look lovely?
He was awesome. Seriously...he nailed it. He played Away in a Manger.
Cute little neighbors Brooke and Christy. The girls think they are going to die if they go more than a few hours without seeing each other.
Santa at the ward party. Cameron wants Mr. Flav drinks and some wii games. Lauryn wants a lego friends barn and Clara wants a new bike.
I love this time of year in all its madness. I love all the fun stuff but I always love the extra opportunities that come for me to share my testimony of my Savior with my kids.
