Because the kids were doing school online this allowed us to go to New England in the fall. Dave and I have been plenty of times but we were never able to take the kids. It wasn't the prettiest fall but the kids had never seen so many colors and they loved it.
We were able to visit Burt Hathaway. I just love him. I met him when I was a missionary and we have always kept in touch.

New England is so pretty all the time but especially in the fall. I would love to live here again. I am a New England fall girl for sure.
We went to the Franconia notch. I was glad it was open. Maine was pretty locked down so we had to stay in New Hampshire and drive in to Maine to visit Burt.
We stayed in the most beautiful resort. It was like something out of a movie.
I loved being able to show my kids this special place. They have been here before but not in the fall. New England is magical in the fall.
When we got home the girls and I were really missing New England so we started a new tradition. We went out to Gilcrease Orchard and bought pumpkins and made the front yard look like New England. They have fresh cider and apple cider donuts. We went early in the morning so it felt a little bit cool. This is something we do every year now.
I swear he never gets put down.
We spent some time in Utah in October.
We went to Gardner Village to see the witches.
The girls had a great time helping Grandad make apple cider.
We did an escape room with the cousins.

The dodgers won the world series. It was a shortened season so some haters say it doesn't count but we will take it.

After getting cancelled on twice because of Covid and having to cancel once because he was sick Cameron finally got his drivers license.
