BOO

So historically I have not loved Halloween. In fact it wouldn't be going overboard to say that I greatly dislike it. I usually consider it something to get over with so that we can have Thanksgiving and Christmas, two of my favorites. However...some things change when we have kids. First I love (yes, love) Pink and I actually have a great time on Halloween. This year I have a very ambitious neighbor who orchestrated a block party. It is Nevada Day on Halloween and so there was no school this year (they always take Nevada Day on a Friday). We thought it could be a little nutty with kids home all day on Halloween. So...we had our own little neighborhood party. We had some bounce houses lots of games and food. The kids were outside ALL DAY LONG. It was so nice. Then we went to our trunk or treat.
Perfect. I have a lot of fun with my kids costumes. I am totally into whatever is easy but we try to be clever (except

for last year, poor Cameron). I made up for my lack of enthusiasm (I had a great excuse) on his costume this year.

They all looked darling and everyone said we should have won an award. At least I think we should have won an award for the cutest kids but then I feel that way every day.

So I posted the picture of our house with luminaries just for my Dad. He does them every year at Christmas so I thougth I would show him our Halloween ones.

I bought and made them. They are just sweats and red jammies with felt stuck on them. I bought the had/bow/mittens combo on line. So easy!!
