Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday (Wednesday) to my beautiful Mother. I have always felt very honored to have my Mom. She is so much fun. A little crazy at times which came in very handy when I was a teenager. I played a lot of sports and often we would need parents to volunteer to drive. My teammates would always request my Mom to come along. She was always up for a good time. I remember dragging the main street in Cedar City during the Utah Summer games and honking at all the cute boys. She even asked for the number of one boy because my friend was too shy to ask for it herself. Not many Moms would do that. Anyway...she has always been my friend which I am learning is very difficult to be a good Mom and a good friend. She was able to manage both. She worked and I know she was often tired and worn out but we never knew it. She always had time for us. She came to EVERY SINGLE one of my games. What a trooper. She is an awesome Grammy and my kids adore her. Cameron loves to email her ( I realized today that many of those emails have never been sent). My Mom is one of those people who has never met a stranger. She is very friendly and loves to make new friends in the grocery store, Disneyland, on a plane or wherever else she may be. She is a great example to me and I only hope that I can be more like her. I love you Mom!!
