I thought one of my New Year's Goals should be to decorate my kids rooms. (We are moving them all around). I feel like I am really pressing my luck to still have Lauryn and Clara in the same crib. I was hoping to make it a year but they are still doing great. I decided to get their "big girl" room ready just in case my luck runs out. First...I have to move Cameron into the guest bedroom so I went to town on his room. I finished painting it (stripes an all) in one day and soon realized this wasn't going to be much of a goal. It is way too much fun and won't require any discipline on my part to accomplish this "goal". I am quite happy with the way Cameron's room turned out. For
those of you who have been in my home. This is what USED to be our guest bedroom. I don't know when I am going to learn to take before and after pictures but trust me when I say it looks TOTALLY different. Cameron loves it but is just waiting to get his bunk bed. He has to wait until we know if we are finished having kids. We will see. I also hung the shelf the whole length of his wall (barely seen in the picture) all by myself. However while I was attempting this project (the shelf) we had a little mishap which led to Clara's first visit to the plastic surgeon. I figure living in Vegas she was bound to visit a plastic surgeon sometime. Actually I am sure she will have many
visits because she is our Kamikaze. Anyway...she fell off a little stool and cut her lip open on either the window sill or the night stand. I am not sure which. I took her to the pediatrician and none of them dared sew her up because if you missed it could have ruined her smile forever so they walked me across the hall to Dr. Earl. He was the nicest guy. (If any of you are thinking about going under the knife...I highly recommend him (: ) He glued her together for me and you can hardly even tell it was cut.

OK so not to leave Lauryn out...This is her favorite hat. She wears it ALL THE TIME!!!

Poor little Clara, she looks so sad. Hopefully it doesn't leave a mark, but if it does - we can compare our facial scars :).
