Last night Cameron and I had a date night. I took him to see Seussical the musical at Faith Lutheran High School. He has hypersensitive hearing and so I knew it might be a struggle for him. He sat with his hands over his ears the WHOLE time. Poor thing. When it was all over I asked him what his favorite part was. He said "NONE OF IT!!! Those characters ruined our date!" Well, we had a long talk about how even though you might be uncomfortable you can always find things to like so I made him tell me three things he liked about the play. He said 1. Horton (I might add that I too thought he was pretty amazing) 2. Maisy the bird 3. The Cat in the Hat. I am guessing that he really enjoyed the musical just not the noise because he has been reading his Dr. Seuss books all morning.
