This year for Memorial Day we went camping up in southern Utah. We have some land up above Cedar City so we decided to go there. My parents and my sister, brother-in-law and Baylie all came. We had fun but...it was freezing cold. The first night we actually drove down to Cedar and ate dinner and then stayed in a hotel. This is Cameron trying to get all 26 of his M&Ms onto his ice-cream cone.
The dirt roads were so boggy we were afraid Dave's truck would get stuck and we would never get out. The next day was nice and we had a good weekend.
Sunday night was FREEZING. All the kids woke up in the night cold so we piled them all in our bed and I must say it was nice and warm after that. So what do we do when we go camping...
We eat dirt and go for walks (in that order).
We run through mud puddles (what is it about boys).
And don't forget...WE CHOP DOWN TREES!!!

And how refreshing to be cold in May! (I'm already sick of the heat...can you tell?)
Looks like fun! We can't wait to see you this weekend! And your girls look SO BIG! I think they are ready to come to dance with me :)
It was fun!
Every time I think "is this whole camping thing worth it?" my kids go on and on about some memory we had doing just that. You're a good sport...and your kids will remember!
