Cameron has started first grade. It is really quiet around here. I have to admit I was quite a bit more nervous (and still am) about first grade than I was about Kindergarten. In Kindergarten you only have to communicate with one teacher. She is with the kids all the time. In first grade there is his teacher, the lunchroom people, the librarian, the art teacher, the PE teacher, etc. I hope ALL of these people will be patient with him and help him to adjust. His teacher is
supposed to be one of the best.

Thanks to an
IEP we get whatever teacher we want. Cameron was really nervous for school. He kept saying that he didn't to go. Just one more day at home. When I told him if he stayed home he wouldn't get computer time and the TV doesn't go on and no swimming
because he would be helping me clean all day, then he got dressed. Once he got to school he saw some friends from Kindergarten and all was well.

He sat down next to his friend
Jadon and they exchanged a little high five.

Every year I make Cameron a special first day of school treat. (Remember this is his fourth year). This year I made him a colored pencil flower stuck in his favorite crazy color skittles.
The girls really miss Cameron. All I hear all day long is "Where's Tannon?"

oh my gosh! tif- he's so cute!! I can't believe he's that old already! he will do great! I can't wait to hear how it went (for all of you!:-)) Oh- I wanted to tell you that I'm listening to the cougar marching band practicing outside my office today... football season is HERE!! Hooray!!
First off, he is so stinkin' cute! Secondly, I wish we were closer. I feel your pain. Poor Zoe, from about 7:50 (the kids leave at 7:40) until her nap after lunch asks about 387 times, "where's Tanner?""I need my Caiti?""We go to the school and get my kids?" Poor baby, and we have THREE MORE YEARS!!! (not that I'm ready for that yet!
I hope everyone is nice to him too. I wish I could go to school with him!
P.S. The above comment was left by Kristin, not David. I hate it when that happens...
