last week of fun

Cameron starts school on Monday so I thought we better get in all our adventures this week. We went to the Museum on Tuesday which was ridiculous. Apparently, every other Mom in Las Vegas had the same idea I did. We only stayed one hour and then we went to the Desert Breeze Pool instead. On Wednesday we stayed home and cleaned the pool to get ready for the youth activity at our house and then on Thursday we went to swim play group. On Friday we went for a Hike at Mt. Charleston and to the Lodge to feed the ducks and fish.

I was SUPER grumpy on wed and Thur because of the 109 degree weather so the 87 degree weather at Mt. Charleston felt fantastic. We stayed up there most of the day. Hiking with 2 two year olds can be quite an adventure. My girls are troopers though. Well...OK so Clara is a trooper and Lauryn is a bit of a wimp. Clara loves Cameron and can't stand it when he gets too far ahead so she hussels to try to keep up with him. She doesn't want any help and says "I do it" the whole time. Lauryn wants to be carried. She is tinier and so it is hard for her to keep up so I think she would just rather catch a ride. On Saturday we went up to our land to check on the cabin and get ready to put the roof on. The kids love it up there. I can hardly wait until I have a real bathroom that I can soak the kids in a tub. They get so dirty. There is a mud pond that they can't get enough of and the dirt road is the best play ground the girls have ever found.

So Precious...

Still Precious?

You sound like me, cramming the fun in before school started. It came to fast! Enjoy. And yes, I think the girls are even "more precious" with the dirt!
