Summertime

So...What do you do in the summertime?

 We have been playing in the pool.  The girls are like little leeches.  As soon as you hop in they are all over you.  They wonder why I love to sit in my chair and read a book.

 The cars had a lovely tea party the other day.

 We were awakened one night by an incredible storm.  According to Cameron it was catastrophic.  Really it was like nothing I have ever seen here in the desert before but not quite catastrophic.  The biggest hailstones were about the size of a quarter.

 What do you do in a crazy rain storm?  You play in it of course. you can't really tell by this picture but the girls are wading is up over the girls ankles.

 We learned to dive.

 It was a huge relief to me when we actually started diving head first instead of belly first.

 We have also learned to do some amazing twirls.  Yes Lauryn I got that one...

 Cameron's big task this summer was learning to mow the lawn.  He did a mighty fine job and had a great attitude about it.  I was really proud of him.

We love having friends over.  We are blessed to live in a neighborhood full of fun friends that are like family to us.
