end of school

schools out for summer and no one is happier about that than this momma.  I am grateful that my kids are able to go to school and get an education.  I feel very blessed that we are zoned for an elementary school that I love.  I just prefer it when they are home.  We stay in our jammies all day and do whatever we want when we want.  The kids do clean their rooms and make their beds everyday.  We read and do a little reading and writing.  But we also eat lots of icees and swim tons.  We go to the beach and don't have to worry about missing days.  So....I just prefer when we have no schedule.
The girls "graduated" from Kindergarten.  This is our fabulous Principal, Mr. Hudzick.
It was a patriotic theme.  My girls are seriously adorable.  Sometimes I can't stand it.  They knew every word to every song.  When the Kindergarten teacher cries and says he can't bear the thoughts of walking in the classroom and not having them there you know you have some pretty good kids.
awkward family photo.  (at least of Dave)
Mr. Buono.  He was the perfect Kindergarten teacher for these little ladies.  We love him.
Cameron was given an all Piggott academic athletic award.
And then had the 5th grade party outside. This little boy and Cameron started the early childhood program when they were three.
Cameron had an amazing 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Mingo.  She has Cameron all ready for Jr. High.
Cameron has had lots of cheerleaders along the way.  They have come in many shapes and sizes.  He has had some incredible support from his peers.  This is just one of those kids.  His name is Joey.  We will miss him next year.
Then it was time for the 5th grade celebration.  Cameron was really excited about this.
Just because I think this picture is totally priceless.
The clap out.  All the 5th grade kids march through the halls while the entire school claps for them. OK so I cried a little...well maybe a lot.
This is Mrs. Lewis.  She is one of Cameron's special Ed teachers.  She is convinced that he will go to an Ivy league school.
This is his GATE teacher, Mrs.  Self.  She has been working with Cameron since Kindergarten. She had become a good friend and we are super thankful for all she has done to help him.
The famous Piggott wall.
All of these kids are in our ward and in the same Kindergarten class.  Such a great group of friends for my little ladies.
and finally our favorite...the welcome to summer party.  YAY!!!!!!!
