Girl's trip

For the last three summers we have had a girl's only trip in Saint George, Utah.  This year we met Aunt Bethany, Ava and Grammy.  Each year we go to Tuachaan and watch a play.  This year we couldn't choose so we decided to go to two plays.  The first play we saw was Beauty and the Beast. 

It was a little stormy and we were hoping to make it without any rain but shortly after the show started the lightning came.  We watched in a lightning storm for over an hour and then just before intermission the rains came pouring down.  It let up for a while so they continued the show.  With about 30 minutes left in the show it started pouring again and they cancelled.  

 The girls were little troopers.  They were soaking wet and didn't complain at all.  It was just another adventure.

On of the shows that was playing was Sister Act.  We didn't see this show but we though this picture was hilarious.  The other show we saw was When you Wish.  It was a medley of a bunch of Disney shows.  It was fantastic.  We loved every minute of it and we were all so disappointed when it was over.  We could have watched for several more hours.  We were so glad we had chosen to go to two shows.

The girls spent some time at the pool.  Poor Ava had broken her arm and had surgery just a few days before our trip.   She got her hard cast on the day they left .  She wasn't allowed to swim so we didn't last long at the pool.  We went shopping instead.  These girls have already mastered the art of shopping.  They put on a fashion show for us and kept us entertained all day.  We love spending time with our cousins and we can't to find out what we get to see next year.

 This outdoor theater is a beautiful and peaceful setting  We love it here.
