Our next adventure was to the family reunion in Colorado. We spent the night in Moab on the way down. I made the kids hike to delicate arch. They were not super happy with me. You can tell by the look on Clara's face that it was really hot and totally miserable. It was a little more difficult than I thought it would be but it was totally worth it. They even think it was worth it now that it is over.
The arch was much bigger and more beautiful than I expected.Look at how tiny the kids are under the arch.
Clara is much happier now that we are at the ranch in the cooler weather.
Crawdad fishing. The girls absolutely love this activity.
caught another one.
Aunt Shanelle had a bunch of games for the kids to play while we waited for dinner.
Bailey and Clara go to work on the three legged race.
The siblings. I love these Aunts and Uncles of mine. One of the reasons why I try to come to this reunion every year is becasue I love how classic these people are. They are humble. They don't get caught up in the ways of the world. They love the Lord and they serve him with all their hearts. I want my kids to be around them and to love this slow paced way of life.
beautiful Lauryn making her Navajo fry bread.
I love Clara's sense of fashion at the ranch. She is in heaven when she can wear her boots and her hat all day long.
Line dancing.
Lauryn is in heaven when there is a cute puppy to play with.
Lauryn wanted to have a root beer contest and...she won. I think she actually tied for first.
The crawdad feast.
The four of us in four different states all at the same time.
While we were at the ranch we took the girl's baptism pictures. I missed the best lighting and we have to settle for these. I hope I can forgive myself for that someday.
Clara is a poser.
She really wanted to take pictures with a horse. We had to go up the street a little bit and take pictures with the neighbor's horse.
She is in love.
I love these little girls. I hope they always love each other. They are best friends. They take care of each other and giggle a lot. I know they will always have their moments but I hope that at the end of the day they always have each other's backs.
I am so excited for these little ladies to get baptised. I miss the days when they were my little shopping and errand running buddies but I am so proud of the little ladies that they are becoming. They are awesome girls. They each have their own gifts and talents and I am so proud of both of them.

You left out the word "belching." Lauryn won the rootbeer belching contest. It's an important distinction for such a dainty little girl. I love your kids!
