Disneyland

Oh how we love Disneyland.  I often think that we should just skip Disneyland because it is so expensive and there are so many other things we like to do but it's no joke...there is something so special about this place for us.  The kids and I spent three days here to celebrate Cameron's 16th birthday.  We hadn't been in awhile and all we needed was a good excuse to go.  I am loving this stage of life with my little family.  I miss the teeny tiny little ones who loved to meet characters and were mesmerized by the parades but it's a whole new kind of magic with my teenager and my little tweens.  I feel like I am just hanging out with my best friends.
I mean C'mon...They are so adorable.  I just love spending time with them.  They are always up for anything.  Except...when Lauryn gets sick on the last day and throws up in the car.  That wasn't very much fun.
We know where all the cameras are.
This sight right here makes my heart so happy
The pictures are all distorted.  I am not sure why.  Maybe my camera?  Maybe my computer?  Who knows.
It was a little rainy which we thought would dampen the crowds but it didn't.  It wasn't terribly crowded but I have been to Disney on rainy days when it is totally empty.
She's read to hit the road. So excited to finally be tall enough to drive her own car.

Sharing a churro in honor of Aunt Bethany
We had our rain gear so no worries for us.  The weather was actually kind of perfect.
Disneyland corn dogs cannot be beat.  We loved their new system where we could order from an app on my phone and then just pick up our food.  No waiting in lines.

Never miss the beniets.  Disneyland is becoming all about the food for us.
We got soaked but when you go on Splash mountain we believe the wetter the better.
 Duck lips for the win
We found some new treats.  The Raspberry macaroon was unbelievable
Cameron always goes for the mac and cheese dog.  It makes me want to throw up.

Cameron always hated tower of terror.  He would usually pass.  This time he couldn't get enough of Guardians of the Galaxy.  He said it was because there were no monsters.
 The sun did come out.
Is it Lauryn or an Eskimo?
There were a bunch of special treats for something.  I think it was like Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday or maybe an anniversary of Disneyland.  I am not quite sure.
 Food Coma
This boy turned 16 the day after we got home.  I love him to pieces.  I can't believe how fast time flies.  It seems like just yesterday that it was just me and him all day long cruising around town.  He was my little buddy.

I know it probably seems like Cameron wasn't even with us but age brings independence and Cameron loved being able to go off on his own.  He loves to wander around Disneyland.
 Double Trouble

Until next time happiest place on earth.  We love you!
