Clara got to do a little introduction to the jump rope assembly this year.
The girls participated in their last jump rope assembly. They love their PE teacher and ever since Kindergarten have gone to school early for jump rope practice. Also...we love Alyce Coupe. She has been on the jump rope team with them the last several years.
Cameron got his learner's permit. This is both exciting and terrifying for all of us.
Lauryn loves solving Rubicks cubes. She competed in the rubicks cube competition at the Las Vegas convention center.
Lauryn has also been working hard on the piano. She has a new teacher and she seems to be enjoying it a little bit more.
The girls studied all year for the 5th grade exhibition. Lauryn did hers on healthy lifestyle and inactivity.

Clara's was on bipolar disorder. She had some challenging situations to figure out in her group and had to grow up quite a bit while trying to help her friend Ethan deal with some difficult situations. She showed incredible amounts of compassion for this boy and I am certain has made a huge difference in his life.
Somewhere along the way was donuts with dads. The girls were a little sad that this was their last one. The Coupe's dad couldn't come with them so they asked Dave to substitute for them. He was thrilled to take them.
Our youth were able to take a trip to Cedar City to do baptisms for the dead. It was so fun to have the girls come as official members of the youth program.
We need to work on our selfies.
after baptisms we drove up the canyon and played in the snow. We found a great hill. The kids had a blast.
So did Dave.
I love that my girls have such a strong support group of friends. We love them.
Some of us weren't feeling so good
The girls competed with their friend, Ben Childs in the Battle of the Books. They won for their school and went on to the district competition. They won one of their battles but lost the other one. They had a great time. Mr. Hudzick, the principal came to support them.
little book nerds
One of my favorite things is conference Sunday. We have a conference store and the kids earn conference bucks if they listen. This year Erik's family was with us which made it even more fun.
We bought season tickets to the new Las Vegas ball park. It is about a five minute drive from our house. We had fun watching this stadium get built. The girls don't love going so much but we love spending time there as a family. The girls ditch about every other game and we bring along friends.
They even made it on to the big screen
Clara played in the teachers vs students kickball game. They got crushed.
We enjoyed listening to David Archuletta sing with Zion's youth orchestra and choir. We love David Archuletta. It was a treat to hear him sing.
