One thing about Las Vegas that I struggle with is the 65 degree weather in December. It just doesn't feel like Christmas. So...how do we solve this problem? We drive to Mt. Charleston. It rained on Sunday so I knew there would be some new snow in the mountains. We bundled up and headed for the hills. The mountains did not disappointl. The kids LOVE the snow. They were already rolling in it before I could get them properly bundled.
What is is about snow angels? We love to make them.
What is it about little boys and snowballs? We really needed Dave there. He is a much better snow ball fighter than I am.
We found some little hills and some bigger hills and the girls were ruthless. They are trail blazers and climbed to the top of uncharted hills and threw themselves down without any inhibitions. They had a blast.
Meanwhile, Cameron was off exploring when he lost his shoe. We didn't have boots for him. When this happens to your shoe it is time to go home. Next time I will let Cameron borrow my boots. So when it gets too cold in the mountains, what do you do???
You go home and play in the leaves instead.
and make leaf angels...
