Merry Christmas

This is the second year that we have taken the kids to the strip to see the Christmas display.  We let them choose where to have dinner.  They chose Jason's Deli .  It was closed at 6 for some reason.  (I am still confused about that one). We went to the Target food court instead.  YUM!
Our plan was to go see the snow at Town Square but due to some parking lot traffic on the freeway we headed to the Bellagio instead.  The flower gardens at Bellagio are awesome at Christmas.  My kids loved the skating penguins.
I am not sure what Lauryn is doing but the polar bear behind us is made out of white flowers.
In front of the giant Christmas tree.
This picture is made entirely out of flowers and pine cones.  I thought it was very cool.  I was also glad we could get a picture with our new Asian friend.  Actually I didn't even realize this woman was in my picture.
I made Lauryn and Clara their Christmas dresses this year.  They are HUGE on purpose.  It was a lot of work to make them and I wanted to make sure they could wear them for two years.
 Little poser.
We took a drive to the temple to see the nativity.  It  is very simple but very beautiful.  I love the temple grounds.
Clara thought it was neat that you could see "the trumpet guy" through the trees.  I guess we need to have a Family Home Evening lesson about Moroni.

I live for the blogs. I loved it all, especially your Asian friend. She's such a good poser.

I forgot how awesome the Bellagio is during the holidays. Love that Lauryn just makes herself at home during the holidays. As for the "trumpet guy," it reminds me of Moses burying the golden plates...
