First we headed to Salt Lake for the wedding of my darling nephew, Nick. It was great to go to a sealing at the place where Dave and I were sealed. I told Dave that we needed to remember to get a family picture and guess what we forgot? YUP...the family picture.
We walked over to City Creek to check out the new mall and get some ice-cream.
We toured the conference center. This is where our prophets and apostles speak to us during General Conference. The kids were really taken by this place.
It is a beautiful building. We had a sweet little tour guide.
We saw the Utah State Capitol. Cameron was still reading the brochure about City Creek. Someday this child of mine is going to win me a bunch of money in some random trivia game show.
This is from the top of the conference center. I love the view from up here.
Apparently the girls were trying to get an even better view.
This is as close to a family picture as we got.
We were also able to visit the Draper temple. Clara was mad about something (I forget) so she refused to be in our picture. This would explain why we have so few family pictures...it seems that someone is always mad. Sometimes that someone might even be me. (:
We headed down to Utah county to spend some time with family. Our first destination was to the Hogle Zoo. We love this place. We try to come here a couple of times a year. How many kids can you pile into a wagon? However many are too tired to walk...
The zoo has this new section with new animals. It is called Rocky Shores. The polar bear is amazing. If you are ever in the area go visit her. Her name is Rizo. She is 15 years old and weight 625 pounds (Cameron asked). She will put on a show. We can hardly wait to go visit her again.
We love seeing cousins. I am so grateful for my cute little nieces and nephews who are such good friends to my kids.
Little Eaglets
eating lunch in the backyard.
Does anyone else remember jumping on the trampoline with a sprinkler on it? Funny how this seemed much safer when I was the kid and not the Mom
We visited Trafalga
Lauryn thinks the frog hopper is just like Tower of terror.
Go Clara go. Clara loves anything that is scary or just plain challenging.
Lauryn has some mad backwards golfing skillsI must say that our family has produced some seriously cute kids...

What treasures you are rearing. I love blogs. I have put them on the largest size I can and I see them so much better. I laughed my head off at some of the pics. I love my grands. Their parents aren't so bad either.
It was so great being together. My kids didn't want to come home. They are really mad that we don't have a trampoline.
