Utah part 2

To continue our trip in utah...
He headed up to Glen Canyon park in Provo Canyon for a little pic nic
For whatever reason Lauryn insisted I take a picture of her doing this.
We hiked from the park up to Bridal Veil falls.  Clara was not so enthusiastic about the hike.
Once we got to the falls we couldn't keep the kids out.  They were hiking up the falls and playing in the water. Bridal Veil is beautiful and I was glad  we got to play up there.
We went swimming in the Pleasant Grove city pool.
Then we headed to Park City for a family reunion.  Clark and Di did a great job planning. They rented a huge cabin in Heber City.  It was a beautiful location.  First we met up at a park to play.
we all took turns scoring goals.
We had our own little primary meeting.
The kids brainstormed up their own verse to a Father's Day song.  I will have to get the words from someone else.
The kids performed a special number for the Dad's since it was Father's Day.
Hug him tight like this...just a quick pause to pay tribute to the Dad's  in my life.  I have been blessed all around.  I have an incredible Dad who I adore.  He is an example to me in so many ways. My husband is perfect for me.  I love him with all of my heart.  My father in law is one of the kindest and gentlest men you could ever meet.  He is an incredible grandpa to my kids. Now...back to the reunion.
We acted out stories from our Family History.  I was in charge of the "sharing time" portion of primary.  I thought it would be fun to act out our history.  I began reading some journals that I have and before I knew it I had  been reading for 6 hours straight.  I read my great grandfather's journal about his experiences  while living in the Mexican colonies.  It was amazing to read.  I am proud of the faith that these people had.  The courage it took for them to leave  is overwhelming.  They were brave and faithful servants of our Heavenly Father.
 played lots of ping pong
wore this cute little pioneer hat ALL DAY LONG
Clark and Di had family shirts made.
Shanelle planned a game of Hollywood squares.
Lauryn must not have gotten the answer right.
We spent one day in Park City.  We rode the Alpine slide over and over
We love being with so many cousins
 and more cousins
We rode up the ski lift
and did the Alpine slide some more
 and more
 and more
 ready for take off
we also did the coaster ride over and over.  Cameron did it about 20 times.  He was in heaven.
The faster the better for this little rider.
 Lauryn loves her uncle Clark
We couldn't find time for lunch or dinner but we were able to squeeze in a sno cone.
Cameron really wanted to ride the ski lift all by himself.
 The view from the lift.
 sliding again
Jonny taught everyone how to miniature  golf.  Thanks Jonny!
Cameron got to golf several times.  This is one of his favorite activities so he was a happy guy.
Clara discovered the rock wall.  She is a gritty little soul.  She is definitely a thrill seeker.
 The zip line
Me and Cameron on the big zip line.  I couldn't believe it when Cameron asked me if he could do this.  He is usually very cautious.  I was totally proud of him.
How many Bayles' can you fit in a hot tub?  Does that water look inviting or what?
This poor little girl got strep throat.  Poor little lady.  She slept for 20 hours.  Thankfully Aunt Shanelle had some antibiotics and so I didn't have to take her to the hospital.  She thought it was great that she got to watch movies on my computer all by herself all day  long.  I have never had a kid be so sick.  She was flat on her back for two days.  (except for this picture of course).  I am thankful for the priesthood  and brothers and a brother in law who were worthy and willing to giver her a blessing.
Can you think of a better place to play with Barbies.  This made me want to get a trampoline.  Forget about jumping on it.  The possibilities of playing under it are endless.

To be continued...

When Baylie saw these pictures, she whined, "I miss my cousins!" We miss everyone so much. What a fun trip!
